Great food at very reasonable prices and generous portions. All food is prepared from fresh ingredients and right before your eyes. There is no better, tastier seafood available in the Florida Panhandle at any price, with fast and friendly service. This is a locally owned family style restaurant, and most of the time when you visit you are greeted by the owner Garey.
Best seafood in town, with even better people. Always a great visit!
My husband and myslef stopped in on a whim to try out there seafood. We were greeted with a energetic and friendly staff. The atmosphere was amazing because of the friendly staff that made sure your ever need was tended to. The food well it was incredible delicious. There oysters were also outstanding as well. Gary's has always been my favorite place to eat when coming to Panama City but then I became aware that I need to eat gluten free...and stayed away. One day tempted I stopped and asked if there was anything on the menu that would be safe for me to eat. I hit the jackpot. they use a corn batter so everything but the hushpuppies are available to me. I love this place.
We heard a few people recommend Gary's so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. Our group of five loved everything we ordered and we passed bites of food around so we could all taste test! It was incredible and the best seafood in the area. The staff and ambiance was great as well!
I have been steady recommending this place. Way better than Hunts Oyster Bar. From the service to the food. Don't get no better
We have been there three times so far. Fish tacos are wonderful, cheese grits are so creamy. Grouper good and our friends loved the oysters. Then try the key lime cake...so good!

Food is always fresh and delicious. Abby, our server remembered our Granddaughter from our previous visits so bonus for our social bug. If you are in the area, don't miss out on this local gem.
