Our shop is a full service auto shop but we specialize in domestic vehicles with an emphasis on difficult diagnostics. Nicks Auto Repair officially opened our doors in February 2019 (in the downtown location that was previously Garys Automotive). Our business is founded on the ideals of hard work, honesty, and reliability. We are so excited to be a part of the Downtown Corvallis Locally Owned Business Community and are very proud to be a Veteran Owned and Operated Auto Repair Shop.

Don't count on him accepting responsibility for mistakes I blew a head gasket and had a mechanic look at it before giving it to Gary. He said that the overheat was significant and it is better to get rid of the engine. When I took it to Gary and told him this he said that he does several similar jobs every week and that replacing the head and head gasket would be sufficient. Looking for an honest mechanic? I have taken my vehicles to Gary's a few times, and have had fabulous experiences each time. I found them after I was given a ridiculously high quote for brakes from Wilson Motors. I asked around and a couple people mentioned Gary's. They did my brakes and it ended up being 1/4 of the cost! Just yesterday I took my car in for a tune up and oil change. When I went to pick it up I only had to pay them for the oil change. They went through my car and said that I didn't need a tune up yet.
