I was sent in to St Vincent Emergency room in the middle of the night by ambulance. I could die and chance to survive was low. Dr Ott performed an urgent complicated surgery to save my life. I’m happy to be alive. Thank you so much Dr Ott. A very nice, friendly, and humble doctor always gave the credit to God and the surgery team. It is hard to find a nice and professional doctor like him. His name will always in my heart that my family and I “thank you very much”.

My father passed away after undergoing heart surgery under the care of Dr. Garry Ott. He was left alone in the ICU without proper monitoring, and due to this negligence, he tragically died. We trusted this hospital and its medical team, but what happened was beyond unacceptable. I strongly do not recommend this hospital or Dr. Ott. Our family is devastated, and no one should go through what we experienced.

It’s very difficult to find out that you need open heart surgery, it comes with a great deal of fear of the unknown. My husband just recently had open heart surgery and we were lucky to have Dr Ott as his surgeon. At every preparatory appointment someone would ohhh and ahhhh at how beloved he was, and how brilliant he was. They were absolutely right, his knowledge and skill were incredible but so was his bedside manner. We owe him so much for our bright and healthy future.
