An absolute butcher. Stay clear.
Messed my back up and had to go to Charleston for a redo surgery.
He operated on my shoulder and did a great job my recovery time was fast. I’d refer him to all my family and friends.
Dr. McCarthy is a very good doctor and sergion.
He screwed up my left knee. Using a partial replacement. It failed and broke. It wasn't right from the start. He refused to fix it. He even laughed at me. I had to go to Carillon to Dr Wolf who I would recommend and their team of surgeons to get it replaced and scar tissue is so bad. Can't straiten it completely. I still walk with a limp. I trusted him. But when it came to my knee he caused me a great deal of hardship and I was in no position to deal with it. As I lived alone. Dr.McCarthy is a great Dr. he fixed my knee, after suffering in pain for ten years he resolved the problem I'm very thankful I recommend anyone to go see him.
I highly recommend Cathy at Dr McCartys office she will bend over backwords to help you! If you have medicaid there are strict rules you have to follow but work with her its worth it!
