Dr. Last feels mental health issues are not real or important.
He missed several areas during examination. He did not offer medicine needed for those areas therefore. He did not explain ramifications of areas he did find. He has the bedside manner of a troll. His office doesn't even have the courtesy to identify that one has reached a doctor's office when they answer the phone. They shut down for lunch instead of answering the phone by staggering lunch breaks among the staff. Just an all time miserable experience.
He is very personable and pro-active. He recently caught a suspicious mark and referred me to a specialist, which turned out to be cancer.
I will never go back. The doctor never addressed me by name and was not able to diagnose my condition. He spent <5 minutes with me as a new patient.
He did not listen to what I said, going so far as asking what I had told him 1 minute prior. He did not discuss post treatment with me at all. I have a trip coming up,and didn't plan on having a scab on my face. Never again will I see Dr Last.
I was concerned about a spot on the left side of my head and called Dr. Gary Last's Office. My last visit to Dr. Last was 15 years ago prior to this one. The staff was very accommodating in the scheduling and I was fortunate enough to get a call on a cancellation. Although my wait in the office was rather long, about 45 minutes, there appears to be a shortage of Dermatologists in the area. Dr. Last set my mind at ease. He's a pro and I would not see another Dermatologist. Just a great doctor!
Over an hour wait to see him for 10 minutes. He barely examined my skin and sprayed my face with liquid nitrogen in 4 spots. He did most of the talking, referred me to a chart out near the desk, and said to see him again in 6 months.
