I was here Saturday evening 8/24 with my brother In-law....My husband ordered a bushel of crabs that morning to be picked up at 6-6:30. We get there to pick them up at 6:30 its customers in front of us, so we wait...finally its our turn We ask the young lady cashier is the order ready and tell her the name she says the orders for 6:30 is backed up, OK, "how long of a time frame are we looking at"? Small water logged crabs 🥵
Been going to Gary Howard's for years, never had a bad thing to say about them, until now. We got the usual 1/2 bushel of steamed crabs a 3lbs of steamed shrimp, the 1/2 bushel of crabs was seriously lacking in size, normally we have leftovers, this year not enough crabs to go around, and they were very light and water logged. shrimp was good. next year we will be going elsewhere.
Gary Howard really is the best in Chincoteague! We visit here each year and the seafood is always fresh, delicious, and of the best quality. Great prices and friendly staff. Crabs are full and good size. We appreciate that you offer ice and paper with our purchases. Never disappointed!

Amazing steamed crabs! Best we’ve had! And I feel guilty saying this because we’re from Maryland and known for our blue crabs! But seriously, the crabs we get from here are amazing! We like to get them when we camp at the campground next door. The crabs this last time were so good, and full! Great price too! Highly recommend!
