He’s a hack. He performed a c spine surgery on me that I did not need. Fifteen years later I am in pain from the terrible job he did. When I called him telling him I was still having the same pain in my arm and shoulder, he stopped returning my calls. Dr.Gonya is the BEST, on 12/14/23 Dr.Gonya preformed the ultimate surgery on my back. He is very hands on and his bedside manners is the best. Even when I returned for my 6 week check he still had the same caring attitude as he had on the first day I met him. He takes times with his patients, gets to know you and listens to your concerns. In 2018 Dr.Gonya falsely claimed that the placement of a coflex device would bring relief to my (then 81 year old) father's pain he suffered for spinal stenosis. After the surgery, there was no relief, and the pain worsened and his legs were weakened. Almost a year later, after seeing Dr.Gonya for another visit, he examined my father and advised him to get injections for pain relief.
