Dr Degen was plenty friendly but a little erratic. I went in for a bone spur on my heel, Achilles tendinitis, and plantar fasciitis. He put me on Turmeric, told me to buy insoles, I did physically therapy, and exerises at home. I did all the things that was asked of me. After physical therapy, I went in for a follow up. He didn't even know I was an existing patient. He gave me all the same things to do as he did the first time I met him. Dr degan and Dr Buck and Dr wexler pointed me towards advanced orthotics in Auburn and Brunswick with wide shoes and that made all the difference to eliminate a lot of foot pain
Was great with my 21 month year old. Removed a large splinter that the pediatricians office could not. Kept him laughing throughout it.
I don’t feel he understood why I came in. I already had a diagnosis but was looking for options to correct the neuropathy in my foot. They did unnecessary X-rays and he kept suggesting other diagnoses even though I tried to tell him and even wrote down what I had and tests that had been done to prove it. Very nice person but I didn’t learn anything useful.
