Dr. Dix is beyond impressive. He articulated everything I needed to know about my fusion perfectly. Research I conducted indicated that he is at the top of his profession. His bedside manner is nothing short of impressive and left me comfortable with having him operate on me. His staff is on the top of their game and very professional.
Dr Dix is simply the best. When Dr Dix delivered the news that I needed cervical neck surgery I was devastated. I needed a double fusion as I had pain and paralysis in one arm, could not walk a straight line, fell often and had was losing bladder control. Surgery was scheduled in less than a week. I am so ecstatic over my recovery. I feel 15 years younger, am stronger than I have been in years. If you are faced with this decision do not hesitate to see Dr. Dix. Frank, his asst. is great!
I have always been very comfortable with Dr. Dix and his staff. Dr. Dix takes his time and first listens very patiently and then takes the time to ask questions in regards to what you are experience health wise. I've had two back surgeries performed by Dr. Dix and trust no one else to make the correction to my spine. I have degenerative disk disease that along with thinking I could lift and do that had created my back problems. I was experiencing a lifestyle change due to pain and weakness.
As a mechanic for 31 years I developed numbness in my left arm and severe pain when sitting . This went on for several months and started ruining my way of life. After a few consultations with Dr.Dix and staff I decided to have surgery to fix degeneration of cervical intervertebral disc. It took awhile to recover but was instantly relieved of all pain. I am so glad I had this done , I wish I had it diagnosed earlier . Dr. Dix and his staff were very professional and great to work with .
Very thorough in explaining my condition as well as risks. Went from initial consult to surgery in less than 1 month (my sight was at risk). Post surgery much better than I expected. Felt better than before surgery within a week. Back to work (admin job) in less than three weeks.
Look him up on the internet and liked his knowledge of my issues. Then had my appointment with him. The staff was warm and knowledgeable. Dr. Dix was understanding of my pain and issues. Very impressed with my care. Can't say enough good things about him and his staff.
Dr. Dix was wonderful, very easy to talk to, explained everything to me every step of the way, was gentle, kind, and caring. He fixed my neck and made my pain go away! Yes, I would definitely recommend him.
Dr Dix was very straight-forward in his explanation of all aspects of my disease (including the non-operative choices) and its treatment. Surgery was accomplished in a timely fashion and without complication. All questions were answered directly and all considerations regarding post-op care reviewed. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB (with what was an extensive and anatomically complicated procedure). I would recommend him without reservation. Craig J. Schaefer, MD, FACS
