Dr Ward is by far the most knowledgeable doctor in Portland area on post polio. I have had polio for 58 years and nobody has ever explained my condition to me like he has. He explained in layman terms what I've been experiencing and gave me very helpful advice and referral to an excellent physical therapist to help manage my condition. Highly recommend him!
Dr Gary Ward, physiatrist, was my doctor from 2009 through 2011 after a car accident. He is extremely knowledgeable, keeps up with the latest treatment options for rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries, and he was willing to manage my pain medication while I needed to be on it with respect. Dr Gary A. Ward. In regards to Doctors that moonlight. Be vary careful with these doctors. I had a run in with this doctor back in 2011. He than worked at the MPLS,VA. He worked as a Physiatrist. He also did RMA's for Work Comp Insurance companies. Look up what these Dr's do for these companies. I feel when a doctor takes an oath to do no harm does not fall under these types of people.
