I first met Dr Grablin in 2005 when I had an issue with a cracked and failing molar. The dentist I was seeing in Santa Rosa sent me to another dental professional for a second opinion and both of them agreed that the tooth needed to be pulled. Dr. Grablin referred me to one of his colleagues who looked at my tooth and told me that it was worth saving. First time I came into his office, I was in such a bad shape. It was after I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and discovered that I was chronically mercury poisoned. I was in a lot of pain in my throat, neck, shoulders, fingers, knees, ankles and feet. At the time I first met Dr. Gary Grablin, reviews of my dental health indicated it was very poor, and perhaps not repairable very much. Dr. Grablin very carefully considered how to customize dental procedures to fit my particular state of disrepair, and virtually "rebuilt my mouth" over a number of months. Dr. Grablin met me 15 years ago when I was fresh out of college and I had a chipped tooth. He fixed that tooth, allowing me to pay it off in installments. Since that time he has taught me exactly how to care for my teeth, replaced all the old amalgams, removed wisdom teeth, and crowned a number of infected, painful molars. Dr. Grablin and staff are attentive, courteous and concerned about me keeping my teeth for a lifetime. I recommend his practice highly.

I moved to San Rafael in 1993 and have been going to Dr. Grablin since 1994. Of all the dentists I have been to throughout my lifetime, Dr. Grablin is the most caring and compassionate dentist I have ever known. For anyone looking for a dentist in the San Rafael area, I highly recommend Dr. Grablin!!

Gary Grablin spent a lot of time initially with me going over my X-rays, doing a fitness check, and translating my treatment plan onto the computer for me to see so that I could understand everything, and planned my treatment so that all work would be stable and permanent. I consented to everything he recommended, and we both concurred to about one - two years' worth of work, which has ended with my teeth needing only cleaning and fitness checking, and fillings are a thing of the past.
