My husband has been wanting to try this place. He loves Argentina food and it did not disappoint! Service and food were both excellent! We will be back. �.
They did not honor reservations through Open Table. I received not one but several confirmations and reminders about the reservation. This not only happened to us, but to other couples too. All of us were turned away. If you’re not accepting Open Table reservations, do not accept them in the first place. We tried having an amazing Valentine’s night out, but Garufa ruined it. Will never go there again.
Ate dinner on New Year's Eve and had the 4 course dinner. Never received the dessert, did not receive a refill for my water, or received complimentary glass of champagne that was advertised. Asked the manager about it and he offered to bring the dessert to go instead of discounting my meal. Terrible service this time and a previous time I went there. I thought this server was working on commission fukkkk! I can't believe the arrogance and and belittling i experienced last night! The only reason i didn't make a huge deal was because the food was great and i felt so nervous about how mad i was , i decided to just walk away!
It was lunch time and we had the place to ourselves - for the full two hours we were there. Our waiter David was very attentive and polite. The food was very good. Hubby had the sirloin which was like butter and I had the fettuccini with the creamy shrimp sauce. The flan was excellent. HOWEVER it took forever to get our appetizers and then even longer to get our entrees. Not sure what would have happened if we were not the only ones in there !! Make sure you are not in a hurry to eat and run - that won't happen!
