I strongly do not recommend this doctor for dental implants. Despite knowing that my bone in the implant area was limited, he refused to perform a bone graft, leading to serious complications. When I raised my concerns, his attitude was careless, and he seemed unconcerned, even after multiple attempts to fix the serious issue. My implant is placed wrong, not sitting in the bone, and needs to be taken out. I was referred by my dentist for a consult, for which I was advised there was no charge for. I had two short visits with Dr. Gartner, whom was hesitant with proceeding with implants, due to complexity of my case & offered alternate options. I obtained a consult from another surgeon, whom I felt more comfortable with and advised Dr. Gardner I would not be proceeding with his treatment. Doctor Gartner is an awesome periodontist! I fractured a portion of one of my back molars and was told by one dentist that it would have to be removed and replaced with a dental implant and would involve a sinus raising procedure as well. Seeking a second opinion, Doctor Gartner was actually able to save my tooth by performing a relatively simple crown lengthening procedure after which I was able to get a crown.
