I concur with the poor rating. Darren, the owner is 'johnny on the spot" when it comes to collecting payments during the install. Service after the install is horrible! I had a problem during a weekend where the furnace failed in the middle of winter and got charged premium rate (without full disclosure upfront). The problem turned out to be a faulty part they installed and was charge for a new one even though the part was still under warranty per their contract.
Do not and I stress do not call these guys for any repair. They are major rip off artists who prey on desperate homeowners. We had both our furnace and air conditioner replaced by this company in the last 4 years. On Friday July 6th (100 degree day in Chicago) we noticed that the air conditioner was not cooling our home and called for service. Extra Service Fee? – Would you wish to get charged extra for no reason? Service rep me charged me a service call fee on visit. Stated specifically when the new part is installed the next day, only new charge would be for new part. Service rep didn't' even know part was still under manuf warranty, until I mentioned it to him, especially with them being the original sales/installing contractor. Once serv rep called office to confirm new part still under warranty, they decided to magically charge me another extra service fee. H... read more
