I bought a 2011 Tucson GLS in AWD from them (which I test drove first) without any of the extended warranties, and so far, I am in LOVE with this car! Eddie was very helpful and not pushy at all. He even threw in some free things (that would've totaled $200) because this is my first car purchase. I was not a big fan of the finance guy (Scott?), but Eddie was great. So was the guy in the blue windbreaker & tie =] I love love love my car. It's perfect!

Only Hyundai and Saab, currently. Back when they were a Buick dealership, they mis-diagnosed a check engine light misfire code. I also heard a Service Advisor tell another customer who was asking about check engine lights and they could be ignored since they are just relatied to emissions controls - so wrong and dangerous. My car had the well-known defect of the plastic intake manifold that melted and drained coolant into the cylinders. The cost? $2,000, a week without the vehicle, and the mis-diagnosis. We bought a Santa Fe and a Sonata from the dealership. Most of the sales staff will bend over backwards to sell you a car. The service department will bend over backwards to sell you non-vital services and try to tell you they are required to keep the warranty in compliance. What they do not tell you is that most of these services can be done @ places like "jiffy lube" and not get hit w/ the premium that dealer-based service departments charge.
