Who ever rated this place #1... Lied! – Poor sanitation. All prepackaged foods from Walmart/Sams Club. She is in over her head, takes it out on her poor husband and us, the paying guests. If you do go and have an enjoyable time--lucky you. But if you go and hate it, well, I tried to warn you. Better luck next time. I only regret that I cannot give no stars.
We've never been treated so poorly – My husband and I chose Garth to celebrate our 2nd anniversary because it had been ranked so highly. We have stayed in numerous B&B's before, and have never been so disappointed. We payed $190 to stay in one of their "honeymoon suites" during the week- it was a splurge for us. The bottom floor of the mansion is beautiful- but our stay left much to be desired. First, our jacuzzi tub was merely a tub of hot water, since the jets barely worked.
