I contacted Garry Heating & Air Service for help with our AC. They asked for a prepayment of $99 to secure the appointment and said we would get $50 off the service. I gave my card number and promptly got notified by my bank stopping the transaction. The woman on the phone said it was stopped and would I approve it? ***The $50 rebate offered will not be issued*** It's been 6 weeks and 4 phone calls asking for it to be refunded, each time they promise it'll be done. And, overall, it a poor experience. Called to schedule and while on phone with office, I get a call from the field agent to schedule a time. Relevant because I had to call the field agent when he didn't show up for the appointment the next day. Quote, "I forgot, but can be out in 45 minutes". Shows up and is there for literally 15 minutes for HVAC annual maintenance. The only... read more
