Finally, Venezuelans from South East Michigan have a good restaurant where we can enjoy delicious arepas and other dishes. I am waiting for the Pabellón with or without "baranda"! Prices are reasonable. Owners are very nice. Ah, I loved the dog station!
Today i had a date for lunch to try your restaurant only to find upon arrival that you were closed for a private party, Not posted anywhere that you were closed- poor business practice for a new opening!

Glad Garrido's is finally open. Definitely a must go for anyone looking for a fresh new spot on the East Side. Vanessa is friendly and genuinely excited about the new venture, and it shows. Although I only had a breakfast Arepa and some freshly brewed coffee I will be back to experience more of what Christopher can offer. Even based on my limited experience it is easy to see why they were successful as restaurant owners in Venezuela. Welcome to the neighborhood!
