Not worth the price. Please be more attentive to what your customers really want done to their hair! I’ve gotten my haircut here two times when my regular barber wasn’t available. Both times I was not satisfied. It felt like their barbers weren’t paying enough attention to how I’d like my hair to be cut, or that they didn’t have the skill or experience to give me the haircut I wanted. The people are nice. My six year old son hadn’t gotten a haircut in probably five months because he struggles with feeling “itchy” from the hair and sitting for awhile. Karen was incredible with him. She was so patient and did an amazing job on his hair! The vibe there is awesome and there was so much cool stuff on the walls for him to look at while we waited. Everyone there was friendly and my kiddo had an awesome experience. Definitely our new place to go!!
Absolutely horrible haircut. Gave a photo of myself with the length I wanted it cut to barber agreed and then completely disregarded it and cut my hair however she wanted. Not only did she do this to me but also my brother. No regard for the instructions I gave, wanted it to fall at a certain point on my forehead and my ears she did not listen at all. Garrett's Barber Shop is great and I highly recommend it. I used to live in the Newington area and found the shop because it was close and convenient, but since moving I always make the drive to come back because it's worth it. The shop has a lot of character, everyone is friendly, and whether you are their client or someone else's, everyone at the shop always greets you and has a kind word to say.
