Frank Would Be Proud! – My favorite restaurant in KC, PERIOD!!!!! Michael Garozzo blows the competition out of the water with his authentic Italian fare, as well as having some of the best wait staff and bartenders in the KC Metro area. With the large entree portions, no one should leave this restaurant hungry. But why would you want to leave, when you can leave you table for the bar for an after-dinner drink and cigar?
Jubilant – A most pleasurable experience. The atmosphere was romantic yet upbeat.
MAMA MIA!!! – THE MOST WONDERFUL ITALIAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD IN ANY ITALIANO RISTORANTE!!!! (and yes, I meant to use all caps) The service has always been great. Ireally like the way they look out for their customers,coming in and going out.What acomfortable,family feeling.
Wow! Italian – The ambiance and decor are beautiful and enhance your dining experience. This food could be served in any atmosphere and still be luscious though. Every item that I have had is wonderfully prepared and presented. Compliments to all involved.
Excellent Italiano – Garozzo's provides a real treat to those who like to eat. I especially like the stuffed artichokes [to die for!] and the Tortellini Gina [sound of smacking lips]. Service is friendly and efficient, and the ambience is purely delightful from the music to the decor.
Romantic rendezvous – Great place to eat. Many menu selections for people of all ages. Salad with meals to fill you up. Always fresh, always friendly.
How could any place in KC compare to Garozzo's? The best italian anywhere! Bring your kids and order the 3-way pasta for them, they'll be eating this 5 pound platter for days! Chicken Spiedini is their specialty, it will melt in your mouth, forget about it! I have never had a bad experience at this place. Frankie, Dean, and Tony will sing to you to add to the atmosphere. (Sinatra, Martin, and Bennett)
Speidini-rific – We order the chicken speidini every time. Downtown atmosphere is very Italian.
mama mea – Excellent food, service and always leftovers to take home! They have incredible breads, pasta, and great drinks.
