Called and left message to see if he was taking on new cases. He had the decency to return my call and asked follow up questions, which included an inquiry about my insurance. I informed him that I had both a PPO and Medicaid, which I already checked with my primary provider to see if he was in network. Instead of asking questions, specifically about my insurance, he could of simply said he wasn’t taking on new cases at this time. It took me over 20 years to find him but I am so glad I did. It's difficult to open up to anyone when you've experienced trauma but there's a "Mr. Rogers" vibe that Dr. Garmo possess that allows one to be honest and open. Highly recommend him to anyone that's looking to work through their trauma
