Have celebrated my birthday at Garlic Mikes for the past few years. The food and service is outstanding. Best food in Gunnison.
Let me start by saying the customer service is excellent. We were treated and served above and beyond. The food; we saw this restaurant featured on the food network and since we were in Gunnison we decided to try it. We started with the Bodo soup which was tasteless and didn't eat. I had a chicken dish with vegetables (green beans) which was also tasteless. My husband had a shrimp dish with the shrimp being huge. He said his dish was ok. With a tip, the price was over $60.00. It was so good. Even though the people next to us we're so loud and talking about vampires and bitting off people's heads. I couldn't even think straight. But the food and people were so nice.
Classic Italian, well executed. Check it out, it’s worth it.
