Food was great...but took looong time to get served, although week night.
Been by this place a gazillion times..... never stopped until yesterday......WHAT A TREAT!! Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Garlic Fries...... yes, please.....best we've ever had. My husband had the Shrimp Scampi and said it was outstanding! I had the Garlic Encrusted (of course) Prime Rib which was a delight for the taste buds..... couldn't eat it all, so I took the majority home for my lunch the next day. What a fun evening on the patio overlooking the Gunnison River. Summer has arrived! Lacy took excellent care of us. She is such a sweetheart. Mike stopped by to make sure we were have a nice evening and the food was good. The food & wine wasn't just good, it was great. Garlic Mike's is always an enjoyable night out during any season.
We went there for a pre graduation dinner for our son. It was a reservation night due graduation at the college and we would have a 40 minute wait. Next thing I knew Mike had a special table set up for us on the patio! Food would have been worthy of the 40 minute wait!
Excellent everything! We love Garlic Mike's. Delicious meal selections and specials are always pleasing. The staff are professional and friendly. Thank you for helping us celebrate my husband's birthday... Garlic Mike's is our go to restaurant for our out of town family and friends.
Service was amazing from the moment we walked in the door, drinks were very good, and the food was outstanding! We had the fried green tomatoes as an app and they were wonderful, I had the Filetto Con Pepe and it was very delicious, my husband had the New York Strip Carbonara and he said his was great as well. We shared the creme brûlée for dessert and it was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this if your looking for a great dinner! Well worth the 40 mins drive from Mt. Crested Butte!
We've been here for 90 minutes and just got our salads. Forget about a drink refill. There's only five other tables in the house. Four cooks in the kitchen drinking sodas and chatting it up. Extremely disappointed.
