As a former NY-er (born and raised), this is how closest I have come to New York Italian from the moment I walked in the door, until I finished my fantastic meal! I must say, though, that 2 things were missing - nicer dress from the wait staff, and cappuccino! Had I more money, I would eat there frequently, as the cost is well worth it!
Very sorry to see all veal selections removed from menu. Wait staff was shaky in knowledge of menu, as wrll as wine selections. When asked for a wine menu, we were told we'd have to go to the front window area to pick a bottle. When asked about the house selections.....he was unable to tell us the brand?!?! When served the seafood pasta.....it came with shellfish that hadn't opened.......and when we pointed that out, the waiter didn't understand why we were unhappy about that,,,,, yikes!!!!
