Must-Use Doctor- Recommended! Dr. Garfias is a fantastic doctor! I am a 35 year old woman, and was first referred to Dr. G. by a family friend eight years ago. Since then, he has also taken care of my husband and my three children. In my years as a patient there, I have recommended him to my friends and family who have also enjoyed his expertise and genuine care.
What is Katie T. thinking... I have been going to Dr Garfias for years! Not only is he compassionate and professional, his approach and manner of telling me what is going on in my body is refreshing. No dumbing it down. I have been to plenty of other doctors previous to finding Dr. Garfias and have NEVER experienced the same level of quality care.
Dr. Garfias has the worse staff! Dr. Garfias has the worse staff! I made an appt and was never told the office moved, therefore, I was 10 min late. I sat in the waiting room for 35 more min and finally left. My first experience was to have blood work done. The staff never mentioned not to eat prior to the test. At least I knew that much myself. I would NOT recommend them. If the receptionist does such a terrible job and they've kept her for years, imagine how horrible the professional staff must be!
No Compassion If you are looking for a doctor that is caring and compassionate - this is NOT the doctor for you. I recently went to Dr. Garfias when I was not feeling well and he could have cared less that I was in pain. He acted like I was an imposition and was there just to waste his time. I left the office feeling worse than when I came in!
Great Doc Great doc. I have been going to his office for about three years after a long search for the right person. Wait time was minimal, I think fifteen mins at most. Overall, I am impressed.
EXCELLENT PHYSICIAN I work with physicians throughout the U.S. so I know an outstanding practitioner when I meet one. Dr. Garfias is one of the finest practitioners that I've had the pleasre to meet. I have total trust in this doc and I have recommended him to many of my friends. If you are looking for an extremely qualified physician who can treat your entire family, this family practice doc is for you. Ciao
Recommend I chose Dr Garfias randomly but will be back for future appointments. I have Diabetes and need to go to the doctor regularly. Good man, and easy to talk to. Did not talk to the staff much but they seem nice.
Horrible We went to Dr. Garfias for 8 years and we are so glad to be rid of him. He prescribed antibiotics when he knew they would have side affects with my cholestrol medications. His response was that "It is a minimal chance that you would get heart pain, convulsions, etc." Well, needless to say, I or anyone should not take that chance. He also made me go through a colonosopy when I didn't need one. All I had was a bleeding hemoriod. STAY AWAY!
