I got married here in April and the staff here was awful. Candice was rude and short with her comments. She said that she would let us know the evening before our wedding to let us know if they were going to use the rain plan and she did not. Once we got to the venue on our wedding date she had already decided that they were going to do the rain plan without talking with us before. I loved my first time photographing a wedding at the Garey House! The stunning grounds and beautiful buildings give a old world feel that you just grow to love as the day goes on. Their back lawn is perfect for out door receptions under the moonlight. The architecture is so pretty from every angle and pretty much any time of day.
The Garey House was absolutely amazing and truly the perfect wedding venue! From the beautiful suites to the stunning grounds, everything about the property was incredible. The staff was wonderful to work with—helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. I chose a more DIY-style wedding and handled most things myself with minimal vendors, and the venue was perfect for that.
