The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Unfortunately, the food itself was a bit underwhelming. Both the lasagna I ordered and the porcini tortellini my partner ordered tasted rather bland and could have used more seasoning and spices. The lasagna sauce in particular lacked the rich, flavorful taste I was expecting. The lentil soup was delicious, lightly salted, just like my mom makes. Overall, the service was great, but the food could definitely use a little more flavor.
We just had a wonderful meal at Garduno's Ristorante Italiano and we were not disappointed by anything. It was my first meal out since finishing chemotherapy and I was craving Fettuccine Carbanaro and it was fantastic. My husband had the Frutti di Mari and also loved it. Excellent owner operated authentic Italian restaurant. Husband and wife owners have been in this location for 39 years! Quaint environment with limited but ample seating space. Most pasta and dessert prepared fresh on premise. Indoor and outdoor dining offered. Parking in adjacent plaza or on street. Mangia, mangia!!!
