Racist staff. Went to the restaurant at the hotel for dinner tonight, and we were seated near the back of the restaurant. My wife had picked this restaurant because of the beautiful view and was disappointed we were not able to get a seat near the windows, but alas, we sat down for a meal anyway. I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Allen while visiting The Gardener House, and he absolutely stood out as one of the best people I encountered there. He’s incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely great at what he does. From helping with the dress code to working the door, Andrew handles everything with confidence and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and taken care of. We’re not allowed even into the building due to “open toed shoes” past 4pm. Regardless if you are all dressed up, it was very uncalled for and very disrespectful. BEWARE! Will be taking business elsewhere that doesn’t treat itself like a glorified country club
