Our vineyards are perfectly sited- a South-facing slope of 10 to 15 degrees, between 350 and 500 feet above sea level. The red clay soils are very deep and moderately well drained. Each vine is tended by hand dozens of times throughout the growing season, and yields are kept extremely low. Biomass planting of the aisles, fish emulsions, and compost tea are methods used to protect soils and control water and nutrient levels.

LOVE Garden Vineyards! We were married there 7 years ago. I can't imagine a more breath - taking or romantic place. The Wilson family was very accommodating and helpful. Such a great thing they've got going on there! If you haven't been there, you are missing out!
