We liked the OT Sam and hope she evolves from this clinic and i pray that the owner Julia doesn't treat her staff the way she treats YOUNG PATIENTS IN NEED OF CARE. The owner should take a course in compassion as she seemingly has none. We had 2 different speech therapists in the span of a couple weeks. My daughter has attended GSP for the last 2 yrs and has had a wonderful experience with Pnina. She gets speech and feeding therapy. Unfortunately, Pnina is now gone but the transition to a new therapist has been smooth thus far, so I have no complaints. My daughter came in with a limited amount of words to now a full vocabulary and getting better. The only issue, (reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars), I have with GSP would be their policy on 24-hr cancellation, very hard to do with a small children as sickness and urgencie... read more
I visited this center after a family friend told us about their positive experience with their daughter after receiving therapy at Garden State Speech. Receiving difficult diagnosis' about your child and navigating all of the feelings isn't easy. We decided to schedule an evaluation, which the staff was so caring and helpful throughout the whole process. I was as understanding and patient as one could be and at this "therapy" center. Once Ms. Makayla left it became clear as day at just how awful this establishment really is. (it all makes sense on why she left. ) Between the filth and snot infested toys in the waiting room, to the rudeness from the receptionist (as if you are bothering her) and don't get me started on the ownership who seems like a scorned woman that gets a kicked out of lashing out on others, i feel such a strong need to warn other parents BEWARE. Five stars for Kaylee. One star for everything else. One older secretary is very rough around the edges and has too loud conversations in general, but often complaining about other patients and their insurances. The office needs a facelift. Also they do not notify you if they are having an issue with getting ahold of your insurance. Instead they will just charge your credit card, sometimes $500 in one bill, without any warning.
