Not understanding some of the low reviews. My son has had some health issues the last few years. We've been to every ER in the area. Singing River has been the best. Shoutout to the discharge nurse who helped me get him to the car and then escorted me to the Pharmacy.
I have been sitting here for 2 hours and no it is not relatively busy. Of the 2 hours I have been sitting, this pile of vomit has been made aware of by 3 other patients waiting and ignored by everyone professional in here. Walmart has higher standards for public safety and sanitation than this hospital.
The staff weren’t rude. The majority of them were just detached and unfriendly particularly during check in. They did their jobs efficiently just with no gentleness, encouragement, or care to what I might be going through. Our nurse was very friendly and kind, but our doctor clearly didn’t find my concerns a big deal even though this is my first pregnancy and we were worried about loss. I understand that emergency rooms and everywhere else that deals with people is stressful. However, they chose to be part of the emergency room in this case. The charge nurse, Caucasian lady sure in height had a really bad attitude. And if she’s in charge of the rest of them, I could see why everybody’s attitude is sour, there are people that abuse systems in all areas however, that shouldn’t dictate the care that is given to the other patients .
