My husband, two children and myself have lived at this complex for almost 2 years. I think it is a great complex, the office and maintenance staff have always been very helpful. The office manager has been nothing but friendly and helpful in whatever we need. The grounds are kept up nice. I have needed repairs done on the weekend or late in the evening, the office manager has sent someone over to see what the problem was as prompt as possible, even on the weekend on a particular occassion. The apartments are in good condition with modern appliances and setup.Rent is fairly reasonable. The Residence by the hospital is new but therent is almost twice the rent I am paying. Laundry machines are mostlynew. They got repaired in a few days once we report the problem. Happy with the apartments and no complains.

I have lived in many different apartments, garden hill apartments is by far the best. It is a very quiet and friendly place that feels like your own home which tells me management does a great job in selecting the right tenants. The swimming pool is always clean. Repair is always done in a timely manner. The office manager is very helpful. If I ever plan on moving back to Eagle Pass, I definitely would return to garden hill.
Stay away from this Apt complex. My husband and I lived here for a year. What a mistake. There is never anyone around to fix or repair anything. Only when its rent day do you see movement in the office. This place should be closed down by the health dept. With all the money this place receives from other Border patrol agents and famillies this place should be habitable. The laundry room is unsanitary and machines are always broken.Even though we cleaned the apt befor leaving we did not receive our security deposit back. Im s... read more

I am really surprised by Stephanies comments.As a working, divorced mother of 2, I could not have chosen a safer place for my children. The tenants are mostly border patrol, school district employees, CBP, and other professionals. Everyone is very friendly and look out for each other.
