I get my lunch here almost every day and they always greet me by name. It's kinda like my Cheers without all the sexual tension haha! The salads are always amazing. The greens are fresh and the chicken juicy and flavorful. The quinoa burger is great too. I get it with bacon because bacon is always a good decision. I also love the French Onion soup! Merabec Salad and a crepe for dessert! Always a treat!
Great place for fresh local organic dishes ranging from burgers and fries to pasta and seafood. Bonus points for the creative homemade types of butter they serve with the rolls. Try this place once and you'll likely be back again and again!
We have loved Garden Bistro ever since they opened in Colonie. The Frites are always wonderful with the Honey Mustard aoli and if course the mussels, onion soup and crepes are out of this world, but last night I had the Quinoa burger with caramelized onions and goat cheese with Rosemary aoli and it was fantastic! Never disappointed!
Had an amazing dinner with an amazing waiter, Jeff. It is very hard to find local, organic, grass fed, and free range entrees properly prepared, AND good service. We will definitely be back regularly.
The service was callow and flippant. Our seating next to the kitchen was unacceptable and the request to move flatly refused. Odd, since the restaurant was less than half filled at 2PM and was still at 3:30PM The food was acceptable but not exceptional. The wine pour was shallow and frites soggy. If I could give less then a one star I would. Just picked up an order to go and the staff literally emptied the garbage in a container and sold it to me for $50.00 for a customer who has been there over 30 times. The staff there now can careless about what they serve you.
Second time I've been here when in Albany for business. Have Had mussels and salmon -- Both amazing - fresh and flavorful - Nice quiet venue , sat at bar with very attentive bartender
Terrible! Air conditioning way too cold. Brunch menu extremely limited. Basically what is served is an enormous plate of burnt & soggy French fries with a token egg on the side. Service is slow and apathetic. Better off going to MacDonalds and ordering extra large fries and save the money, at least they know how to make them.
