He is kind and understanding!
The team of Dr. Garcia and his colleague Dr. Grohens were the perfect team for me. After almost 3 years of terrible depression and several Doctors I came out of a dark hole. At one point I had the nerve to ask him if he was all in with me and I’m not just another appointment to gat out of the way. Oh boy I could immediately tell he was MAD. He answered me by saying that he didn’t know what more he could do. I told him that he just did. I like Dr. Garcia but the clinic is a nightmare. I would recommend Dr. Garcia only if he was at a different clinic. The people at the front desk are awful. They constantly take my messages wrong and mess up ordering my prescriptions. I've complained about billing problems and prescription problems but no cares or does anything about it. The director does not care or do anything about problems there.
This doctor has my husband addicted to Adderall. He can no longer function without it and steals my sons ADHD meds, but this doctor still keeps giving him more and even added mg.
Business response:
I don't treat anyone who lives in NY, but if this is in reference to a current patient, I take the prescription of controlled substances very seriously and only provide them after a thorough evaluation, with continuous monitoring, including monitoring prescriptions filled on the IL Prescription Monitoring Program website as well as urine drug screens when appropriate.
stopped medications suddenly causing significant relapse
Business response:
I always wean my patients off their medications when they are being taken off any medications, including providing written instructions on how this is accomplished, unless they are experiencing serious and potentially life-threatening side effects. There may be instances when patients stop coming for appointments and are, therefore, no longer provided refills, but this is done only after ample warnings have been provided.
