Tapitias I often go to Jo Jo's for my favorite..a bean tapitia. No one makes them better than this place. Love it! Sometimes the personel their are not fast or efficient..but worth the wait. Reasonal prices. Good quality.
Been eating at Garcia Jo Jo's for about 10 years. I like the shredded chicken burrito, I swear you can't get one like it anywhere in Modesto. The beans are so good, I think they flavor them with lard, but durn that lard tastes good! The chicken is flavorful and the rice kicks it. I get it as a combo with side dishes when I'm really hungry. Now for the orange seats, the decor is funky; straight out of the 70's or early 80's. I'm pretty sure they still have the original bright orange seats that probably glow in the dark.
Crappy service. Asked for extra meat in my breakfast burrito and that's all I got no eggs no nothing else. Lady that answered the phone was a totally rude
If you enjoyed Garcias near the mall, you will LOVE JoJo's place! It's even better in many ways! Try the Chicken tapatia...best there is! Enjoy...
