We have a Garaventa lift in our home for our wheelchair-bound daughter. The lift first broke down after 6 months, and has continuously broke down roughly every 6 months since. This company does NOT stand behind their product - we were told that since the first breakdown happened after 3 months, the warranty does not cover any repair costs, so it has been up to us to find other independent repair people who don't charge the exorbitant costs that Garaventa quoted us.
