My year with him was not that great but it wasn't his fault. He had a lot on his plate with administrative duties. What I am sure about is that he communicated to the administration that he had an afterwork responsability that only he could take care of "appropriately"...Given that this is the field of mental health, I feel that the administration understood the importance of Dr. Garakani being fully present to take care of this responsability. My year with him was not that great but it wasn't his fault. He had a lot on his plate with administrative duties. I think that we should both have realized this and made changes. I don’t see him working with people. I see him as a lecturer or researcher more than anything. Some people are meant to “do” others are meant to “teach”

I was spending a small fortune on mental health workers every year. For over 20 years, it just felt that I needed them to stay healthy.
