Here's what I emailed to them after their screw up: Your company is awful. I called and spoke to some guy - think his name is Andrew - who sounded like I just woke him up. I told him that I needed my whole garage weather stripping replaced. When he gave me a price of $89 service call and $3.25 a sf for the material, I said ok. He said someone from scheduling would call the next day. Low and behold, no one called. When the first tech couldn't make it to our home in the morning, Garage Doors of Naples made sure to send another tech the same day at our convenience. They fixed our opener gear promptly and didn't charge an arm and a leg. They came back after we went on vacation to replace the door seals, again, at a reasonable price. Great job guys. Only thing is there was an extra charge for the gear replacement on the final receipt. Didn't catch it before the tech left. Poor customer service rant: My garage door opener was buzzing at me instead of opening the door. I googled my device and issue and found a forum on the Genie website with a post on my exact symptoms and the solution was a new capacitor part. I called Garage Doors of Naples (who installed the opener) and told the dispatcher my exact model, symptoms and what the Genie forum said about needing a new capacitor.
