My experience with this Dr is the same as others have said. Bad bed side manners and sarcastic. I was there to discuss my brain tumor and this Dr spent our time giving my husband a hard time over his place of employment. His assistant even knew he was being rude because he apologized for Dr Gao's behavior when he stepped out of the room. His office is very cluttered and dirty and crowded. I didn't even want to put 1 star.

i started seeing him an he hasnt helped not one bit i was diagnosed with mini strokes not once did he check to see if i was better i had a nerve test in my hands and didnt feel the shocks they give you and i was told theres no nerve damage on the large fibers now they wanna check the small which my insurance dont cover i also have hypereflexia and hoffmans an no treatment for any of the above rushed out of my appt felt like it was a waste of time

0 stars! EPIC FAIL! This doctor COMPLETELY MISDIAGNOSED A CONDITION,AND NOW HAS MADE SITUATIONS WORSE BECAUSE THEY SUSPENDED MY LICENSE DUE TO WHAT HE CLAIMED, WHICH IS TOTALLY INCORRECT, AND TO TOP IT OFF.. HE NEVER ONCE TOLD ME THAT THE CONDITION IN WHICH HE CLAIMED WAS WHAT HE WAS DIAGNOSING ME WITH. HE SAID I WAS SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!! HORRIBLE! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE AND THE B.B.B. AND THE STATE MEDICAL BOARD ARE GOING TO HEAR ABOUT HIS INABILITY TO DIAGNOS CORREC

Unfortunately, they give you just a ltd amt. of space in which to write. This is obviously to keep any negative reviews (like mine) to a min. Anyway, the crux of this complaint is that, after 2 earlier appts., we went back (my fiancée was the pt.,I was moral spt) expecting to get an Rx for pain. B4 the NP wrote the Rx we both told him "SHE CAN'T TAKE NSAIDS". So, what does he do? He prescribes Indomethicin, which, I find out later, is an NSAID!! Why did this happen? Why won't the Dr fix this?

I never got the chance to see Dr Gao. His office staff (not Eman) is ridiculous. After getting the auth for the referral they called me saying they need medical history for the visit; they could've called my PCP and handled it so they would have the correct info. Then the codes on my auth weren't right, so they called me & I handled it, it was corrected. Today 02/10/16, my appointment was canceled without my knowledge because the girl thought the codes weren't correct w/o double checking.
