When I first visited the store, right before their grand opening, they told me that due to the winter storms that not all the inventory shipped. Well I went in today (over a month later) to purchase bunk wrap or bunk carpet to cover my new bunk boards for my boat & they told me they sold “IT”. I asked if they only had one & he said yes that their inventory isn’t all in yet but they get a truck every Wednesday! Lol it’ll be done by this weekend! Two guys in the gun department told me that I couldn't put a brace on a AR15 pistol. If it doesn't come from the factory like you want it, you can NOT change it. That it can't be fired from the shoulder. If I did, I would be committing a felony. That's what the law was with the last store, they said. I asked, so everyone who builds an AR15 pistol, is committing a felony? Yes was the answer. April 24th 2017, the law was changed. Not impressed with the store. Not much size selection for women and all high end name brand items. Too expensive! Not enough help at the checkout and when you asked someone something they didn't know. When I asked the lady if this was the area they were doing kids lures she looked at me like I was stupid for asking. Sorry!!
Not impressed, layout seemed more like a discount warehouse but with higher then average prices. Was expecting something better then Gander Mountain.
I was in there today was extremely impressed with the knowledgeable staff. Everyone was friendly and wanted to be part of this. Having the Girl Scouts was sweet. The items chosen for the store fit this community. Gun prices and accessories are competitive. Cheaper than Dick's. As the leadership repairs the damage done by the precursor inventory will improve.
They took out the gun academy, one of the best features of the store. We loved coming in to live fire and our son loved the virtual range. Huge disappointment they didn't bring this back.
