I contacted Gammage Flowers on a Saturday evening urgently needing flowers for a funeral, and not only did someone answer the phone after hours, but offered to open the shop late in the evening to assist me. The floral designer took the time to learn about the person who had passed away, and then created an elegant casket spray, tastefully incorporating her favourite colour (purple) as well as tulips and freesias from her home country. We ordered some flowers, a supersized fruit bowl and a bottle of wine and card for $180 from Florist.ca and this order was handed off to this florist. what was recieved was the flowers, what looks like a grocery bag with two oranges, 3 apples and a pear as well as some cheese and crackers. No wine. No card. When I called to complain, the owner laughed and told me they were a florist not a wine store.
