Matt is what makes this shop. He’s always friendly and in tune with what’s going on in the game. He keeps the shop fantastically clean and well maintained, not to mention well stocked. He’s a wealth of knowledge and if he doesn’t know, he can point you in the right direction. I could probably get my plastic crack fix cheaper and closer to home, but I come here for the community and to get caught up on the latest GW news from Matt. My 12 year old son kept wanting to go in to see what the store was all about, every time we passed it so today we did and even though it wasn't what we expected it to be we were welcomed by Matthew who gave my son a lot of his time and patience... showing him what it's all about from how to build/paint a model (he gave him for free) and even explaining and playing a game with him, beyond impressed with the customer service. Always a great experience at Freeway V. Matt is friendly, helpful and quick look into queries. Though I have not attended as many events as I have wanted too, it has always been a pleasurable experience with other friendly people.
Best experience out of any hobby store I've ever been to. Sure, I could go to a store that's closer and sure, I could get my GW products from other places cheaper, but welcoming environment that Matt has fostered and maintained in the store makes it worth it to me to make the longer trip down to Freeway V.
gave my little brother a free space marine and storm cast eternal. he's painted both of them and now he's totally hooked and keeps asking for more marines. games workshop stores are always worth the drive, wish there were lots more!
Matt is super friendly and welcoming. He makes a point to greet anyone coming in, and ask if they need any help finding something. If you just want to browse, he is quick to find something else to do to give you space, while still being available to answer any question you might have.
Matthew is the coolest guy I have ever met in similar kind of hobby stores. He likes what he is doing and he is enjoys teaching if you’re willing to learn. I’ll buy my first GW products from this store.
