Fabulous food and we love the atmosphere, so friendly and welcoming.
Very pleasant place to dine. Staff is friendly and courteous. Fresh fish is excellent and they will prepare it with a butter/lemon sauce rather than the menu sauce, if you prefer. Lobster specials are very good! Be sure to try their house special celery seed vinegarette.
Delicious, lobster tail cooked to perfection. The clam chowder was fantastic.
Best dinner ever. I'm gluten free and it was no problem. Had the lobster sautéed with rice and string beans. And the creme brûlée was fab!
While visiting Bar Harbor, my husband and I had lunch there on the advice of our tour guide. I ordered the Cajun shrimp lunch platter and he had the traditional lobster roll. My shrimp had just the right amount of kick, and was served with rice and vegetables. My husband said his lobster roll was the best he's had anywhere. Our waiter, Michael, was the best, making us feel very welcome. If we ever find ourselves in Bar Harbor again, we will absolutely make it a point to go back to Galyn's!
Had lunch there on the second floor by the windows overlooking the street and the harbor. Beautiful view to match the delicious cuisine. Ordered the warm Brie for an appetizer and the crab cake salad for my main course. Was truly pleased with both. Our server Townsend, was very pleasant and informative of the food and the area. I'd go back again in a heartbeat.
