We had an excellent meal. We tried whole lobsters and they were excellent. The flowerless chocolate cake for dessert was so good. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Excellent food. We loved the lobster biscuits appetizer, the split lobster tail and the lobster roll. Try the cranberry martini! Service was excellent.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner at Galyn's. He had the stuffed Pork Chop and I had the Sautéed Lobster. Both dishes were delicious. Our waiter was wonderful, I wish I could remember his name. So helpful and informative. We will be back the next time we take the trip up from CT!
Absolutely delicious crabcakes salad and the clam chowder! Enjoyed dining on the porch with fantastic service too. They brought us blankets when the evening became chilly, definitely a food highlight of my trip.
Lobster tail, over cooked. Our waitress was wonderful, but when my husband told her about it, she said her boss said sometimes hard shell are like that. what?? My crab cakes were excellent & so was the salad. Nice atmosphere. 59.00 Lobster was very discouraging.
While on vaca, we ate at many places. Galyn's, hands down, was the best food we had the whole 4 days in Bar Harbor. We ordered scallop skewers, warm brie, sauteed lobster and lobster linguini. We scrapped our plates clean! Portions were generous, fresh and very flavorful...including the salads and bread served with dinner. The blueberry sangrias were addicting and coffee was piping hot and tastefully rich! But, by far, the Blueberry/Apple Crisp was the best dessert we've ever eaten!
