Heard great things, but was a horrible experience for me. Ignored by the server all night, and the food wasnt worth the price in my opinion.

My husband and I came to Ocean Shores for the Labor Day weekend, and were looking for a place to enjoy some live entertainment on Saturday night. Beltaine was playing the weekend, and we had never heard them, but you can bet we'll be following them from now on! We enjoyed them so much we came back on Sunday night as well! We had a grand time at Galway Bay Irish Pub & Restaurant. The food and service were great. The staff friendly and welcoming. The gentlemen in the store. . . brimming with Celtic wit and laughter. Thanks to all at Galway Bay. We will be back.
My husband and I went here for our anniversary and were beyond pleased. As my husband (who is very picky) said, it was hands down the best clam chowder he'd ever had. The steak salad I ordered was fabulous. And the building is lovely to explore. Just a month later we have driven back so we can explore the menu further. Oh and one last nice surprise, for those of us it matters to, they have gluten free hamburger buns available!
We stayed the night in Ocean Shores on Saturday August 23rd and thank goodness for this pub....the only positive thing we experienced on this trip. The bar tender was EXCELLENT...he came out to the patio to check on us and the patio is fantastic. That night's entertainment was out there practicing and it sounded great. The smells were to die for...we will return and next time eat here....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
Great food
Food was average +, but the service was horrible. Not going back. Had to ask for a waitress so we could order after sitting for 15 minutes. We were able to place our order (1 hamburger, 1 fry, 1 cup soup and a 3 inch square waffle with one piece of bacon). After 30 more minutes we had to ask about our food (previous waitress only came by the table to drop off water). Food finally came and it was obvious that it was sitting for awhile. Will not be going back.
Awesome food and a great atmosphere! We love coming here each time we visit Ocean Shores.
