Had friends in town from Michigan who were staying in Ocean Shores..they picked to go to Galway Bay on Saturday so we met them there. We had never been there. Well $100 later for 2 beers..a Caesar salad with-I asked for crab added for $8 extra dollars..that wasnt crab..that was chicken! 6 SMALL oyster shooter and Oyster dinner that had 6 small oysters..small scoop of mashed potatoes that tasted like card board-boxed Im sure and a couple of green beans! Outstanding as always. It is my number one spot to stop in an have a pint, and pan fried oysters, and shooters. Probably one of the most accommodating servers, and bartenders (James) pays attention to detail, and makes you feel very welcome as a guest here at the Galway Bay. Thanks for a great place to make memories for the Lady, and I 😎

Have been to Galway many times, and unfortunately Sunday (3/17), was my worst experience. Waited over a hour for soda bread. Over a half hour for a beer. Was charged for a beer I did not receive, (yes I mentioned it but her attitude just pissed me off, I paid it anyway). After I paid the bill they ask the 4 of use to move to the bar so "paying customers " could have the table, (there were several empty tables near us with no waiting line in sight). If this had been my first visit, I wouldn't consider attending again. but the... read more
