My FAVORITE vet! Dr. Collins Even though I moved to Baton Rouge I still bring my two dogs here. They are so knowledgeable, thorough and sweet. I switched from Griffith to Galvez and don’t regret it. They use the PetDesk app which gives rewards points and you can schedule appointments online. Whether its an annual checkup or a problem visit, we leave happy and with answers. So reasonably priced as well. My mom brings her dogs here too! 5 stars
My dog was dropped off yesterday to get spayed. The only reason we used this vet is because they were listed on the voucher from the rescue organization we adopted our dog from. When I dropped Bailey off yesterday I gave them my info, her vaccination records, and made sure they knew we wanted pain meds for her. My parents bring their dogs here, since Dr. Barbra. I brought my puppy here, shots went well. Both times she was checked for worms, the girl went to put the stick in with no lube and was told both times, “are you going to put lube on that?”... She laughed, “Oh my gosh, yes, I forgot.” I switched vets, not happy with my experience here.
First time patient yesterday. They came out to my car to retrieve the patient and took excellent care of my baby. Doctor spoke to me on the phone several times throughout the afternoon. Great, affordable service. Very friendly staff.
They worked very well with knowing my fur baby was difficult to trim his nails and they got the job done causing the least amount of stress possible. Very informative about all my questions. Also gave me many price options to which would fit my budget for services I wanted done and preventative medicine. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Galvez Vet Clinic. Dr Collins abs and her staff were very friendly. Dr. Collins took her time with our Chihuahua and answered all of our questions. The clinic is also very affordable.
My dog looks like a rat after her groom, she looks so bad!!! Totally bummed, she smells good but her poor face and around the head doesn’t match the full shave! Poor Yorkie lady baby 😭 will not be back, for our grooming needs, first and last visit!
