Amazing Dr. see all my family
I located this PCP through the United App and attempted to make an appointment. That’s when I was informed that patients must pay a $600 “membership” fee in order to be seen here. This was not made clear anywhere prior on the United app. This feels misleading, money-driven, and unethical. Healthcare should not operate this way. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
Website says NEXT DAY appointments available. PAID for membership, and cannot get anyone to return my calls. No email, no other forms of communication. I'm hoping this review gets some attention so someone will call me back. Will update review if I'm able to establish with the doctor.
Dr. Galvez and her staff are knowledgeable, personable, and were good to work with. Unfortunately, she's moved her office to a "concierge" model where ALL patients are required to pay additional money every year just to remain patients... that's in addition to regular insurance copays for every visit. While some families and patients can shoulder that additional expense, others (like mine) cannot. Theodora was very thorough and interested in helping me find the root cause of my health issues. There were multiple things that she found other than what I was in there for and she was able to help with those as well! My family and I are so glad we found her after having a terrible experience with another doctor!!!
