It is a family-friendly space featuring live music, kids activities (including arts & crafts, science experiments, storytimes, hula hoops, etc.) and sincere interest in making our community healthier, stronger and more connected.

I love Galveston's Own Farmers Market! It was my first real feeling of community on moving to the island, and we go weekly whenever we can, rain or shine. The food for sale is top quality, and the vendors are friendly, remember their customers, and admirably committed to locally sourced ingredients. I love Galveston Farmers Market for lots of reasons. The atmosphere, the vendors and the products they offer. I try and go every Sunday and Thursday's. There is always something I want to try.
As it keeps becoming more popular I hope it stays real, but it needs to grow a bit more. Love it, I love talking to the farmers and the people that make the bread and the juices it's really great to have something like this local you need to take advantage of it while you can enjoy food and beverages straightforward no GMOs

We drive from League City almost every Sunday, specifically for Galveston Bread! Philip and Helen make THE best bread in Texas (that's a fact, not an opinion). We always find other delicious treats as well!
