Friendly staff. Made me feel welcomed and they answered my questions. Definitely my favorite VA place in the houston area now.
I am extremely disappointed with both the Galveston VA Clinic and the Houston VA system. The Galveston VA Clinic online states that it closes at 4:30 p.m. However, after waiting on hold for roughly 45 minutes to an hour before finally reaching someone, I was informed that the clinic actually closes at 4:00 p.m. If the phone availability hours are different from what is publicly posted online, that information needs to be corrected immediately so veterans are not wasting their time sitting on hold with no chance of assistance... read more
Why does it take more than an hour for someone to pick up the phone in this location????
They never answer the phone for 3 days straight I've been calling and been on hold for 45 mins or more and no one picks up, not even to check the line. These people deserve to be fired for not doing their jobs.
I’ve been waiting for more than 2-3 Weeks to see the doctor. My first appointment I was very punctual and still had to wait 30min to be seen and have my blood drawn. I called a hour ahead of time to let the Doctor know I’m running behind because I’m coming way from Houston, and they would not transfer my file to the VA clinic in Houston without making me go through another process of waiting weeks or a month.
